Our school was established in 1959 in the name of "Kavaklıdere Girls Institute" in Paris Street, and started to provide education for a small building in order to meet the education needs of some districts in the vicinity of Kavaklıdere.
Our school, which collects the students of the Ayrancı, Küçükesat and Gaziosmanpaşa districts, became unable to answer this need because of the shortage of physical capacity.
For this reason, in September 1967 our school moved to DR. Reşit Galip primary school building located in İlkadım street of Gaziosmanpaşa district and shared the same building with this school for a few years.
Then Dr. A new school building has been built in the garden of Reşit Galip Primary School and the primary school has been moved to this building and the name of our school has been changed to "Gaziosmanpaşa Girl Institute", In 1973 it was named as a "Girl Vocational High School".
1987-1988 At the beginning of the academic year, the school which has the computer and electronics departments in it, started education with the name of "Anatolian Girls' Vocational High School". In the academic year of 1995 - 1996, Tourism Industry Service Services, Office Management and Secretariat, Graphic departments were opened and male students started to be taken and the school name was changed to "Gaziosmanpaşa Anatolian Vocational and Girl Vocational High School". In the 1998-1999 academic year, the Department of Child Development was also included in the Anatolian Vocational High School, and the school started to provide education as an "Anatolian Vocational High School".
In the 1999-2000 Academic Year, students were taken back to the Girls' Vocational High School for Child Development section after a heavy demand and since the physical capacity of the school is inadequate, our school has begun the Full Day - Full Year Training.
According to the transfer regulation of secondary education institutions, students who fail in the preparatory class of Anatolian Vocational High School and not want to class repetition, because of the chance of enrollment in the Girls' Vocational High School and the transfer to the general high school was not possible, male students had to go to another vocational school. For this reason, the school name was changed to "Gaziosmanpaşa Anatolian Vocational and Vocational High School" in 2001 - 2002 academic year and Graphic Department was opened in Vocational High School.
Turkey's Strengthening Vocational Education and Training System (SVET) has been updated within the scope of the applied field names and branches in schools. Since the physical conditions of our school were not suitable to open more departments, the departments of Electronic and Office Management Secretariat were closed in 2007-2008 academic year.
Within the scope of a structure transfer studies based on program diversity instead of school diversity in secondary education, the name of our school has been changed to Gaziosmanpaşa Girls' Technical Vocational High School by the authority approval dated 03/12/2008.
